MPN standing strong as the FIRST processing line open in Sumatera Island. This processing line will officially open in Mid of 2021 with a capability of 60 Tons fresh konjac drying processes. From the statement of MPN’s chairman Mr. Ivan Audwinto, the vast area of 2 Ha (20,000 m2) is being prepared to accommodate various function in hope to fulfill Global demand in Konjac. MPN is currently working together with local government in all 12 states of Riau province of Indonesia to spread the news of Konjac benefits in term of financially and the efficiency of its distribution. As of 2021, MPN has received many offers of the use over 9,000 Ha of land for planting Konjac by working together with local farmers.

MPN is also working with Agricultural Research Institute of Indonesia in Riau province to develop a tighter management, as we call “One Door Program” where all konjac’s seeds that going to be planted in Riau must come from MPN and selling it back to MPN by the end of harvest season. By doing this, we can ensure the quality of konjac in overall while competing Globally. With a correct expertise and strong management, Sumatera Island could become the largest Konjac plantation region which will increase states federal income and raising the quality life of many people involves.
