It is not possible to differentiate a dormant seed (harvested seed on season) or forcibly harvested seeds. Hence buying from a trustworthy partner is your wise decision for a long term growth of your company.
Indonesia Yellow Konjac seed are divided into 4 categories, which are: Flower Seed, Bulbil Seed, Mini Konjac Tuber, and Sliced Grown Tuber.
Each of these seeds have different treatment, planting, daily nourishment method, and length of age to grow (2 – 4 years) yo reach the weight of 2 kg.
MPN is working together with CV.KAI (Konjac Anugrah Indonesia) in response to our production line supply of Fresh Konjac. Kai is also responsible in poroviding well-quality konjac seeds to our partner farmers.
KAI is working together with some institution on research purposes, hence their quality of product is recognized.
After being dormant, we will leave the tuber for another 1 months until its naturally ready for harvest (roots fallen off). Tuber in weight of 1,500 gram and above is then ready for factory supplies.
Indonesia Yellow Konjac is categories as Amorphophallus Muelleri Blume which every 100 grams contain around 83% moisture content, 4.5% – 7% Glucomannan, 0.19% Calcium Oxalate, and other materials.
Aside from growing our own konjac plantation, we are also working closely with other local grower to supply our processing demand. But only those registered growers and pass our inspection of quality control by following our control of SOP will be accepted.
Utilizing a high technology of 7 layers drying cycle, we can achieve a konjac chip dryness of 11% – 13% in within 3 hours to achieve at least 58% – 65% of glucomannan concentration.
We have our own konjac processing site (Factory) with size of 2 Ha. We have the capability to process 20,000 tons of konjac tuber per year to product approximately 3,000 tons of “Dry Konjac (Chip)” distributed for both local and international demand.
Our factory is built accordingly to follow local (MOA – Minister of Agriculture of Republic of Indonesia) and international standards (GACC – the General Administration of Customs and People’s of Republic of China)
Our machinery is using a high precision of 7-layers mesh belt conveyor where each layer has its own temperature control system to ensure a high production quality of Dry Konjac (Chip).
Located in a sterilized room with controlled cleanness, our production machineries are able to produce konjac powder in 40 – 120 meshes with concentration of glucomannan up to 85%.
Glucomannan which extracted from Yellow Konjac has a better viscosity performances in practical on all industries. We are working with one of the leading Konjac Research Institute of China to manufacture both Hammer Milling and Konjac Crystal Refining Machineries, which both are customize built with over 90% stainless steel material in accordance to Food Grade safety International Standard.
